Attractions of London

From the London Eye to the Tower of London, London is host to many  sites old and new. If sight seeing doesn’t interest you then London is also home to several world renowned museums (Museum of London, Natural History Museum, Imperial War Museum, Science Museum, Design Musuem) or embrace music and culture at places like the Royal Albert Hall or the West End.

  • Tower Bridge - The Bridge offers one of the best vantage points in the city from its high walkways, elevated 140ft above the Thames.
  • Royal Albert Hall - One of the world’s most famous stages. Opened by Queen Victoria in 1871, the Hall hosts over 360 events which include classical music, jazz, world music, circus, rock, pop, opera, dance, comedy and tennis.
  • Trafalgar Square - home to Nelson's Column, iconic stone lions and the famous Fourth Plinth. A must-see destination for visitors to London.
  • London Eye - Offering unrivalled views of London, the Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames
  • Saint James Park - At the heart of London and covering 23 hectares. It's also home to a Mall, with many ceremonial parades and events of national celebration.
  • Tower of London - The historic Tower houses the Crown Jewels, the prison cell of Sir Walter Raleigh, known as the Bloody Tower, and the Chapel of St. John and the Royal Armories.
  • Buckingham Palace - Buckingham Palace is the Queen's official London residence and is used to receive and entertain guests on state, ceremonial and official occasions for the Royal Family.
  • Houses of Parliament & Big Ben - This is where the two Houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom (the House of Lords and the House of Commons) conduct their sittings. It is the place where laws governing British life are debated and passed. Big Ben is one of the most famous landmarks in the world. The clock tower is situated on the banks of the river Thames and is part of the Palace of Westminster.
